So it seems the myth that animals know when an earthquake is coming may be true after all. There’s long been this belief that animals start acting weird in the hours before an earthquake, and now German scientists have found that animals do, in fact, exhibit abnormal activity before an earthquake. And according to researchers, animals acted strangely up to 20 hours before an earthquake occurred. This was especially true when animals were closer to the earthquake’s epicenter. (Study Finds)

COVID made boxed wine cool …Wine in a box used to be a punchline, but it seems that with people drinking a lot more wine lately, many are choosing the more affordable option. According to Nielsen research, sales of boxed wine jumped 36% in June, compared to the same time last year. And boxed wine even beat out regular wine sales, which increased 29% in June compare to last year. Some stores have even sold out of their boxed wine. (USA Today)

Stinky initiative …The public transportation commission in Berlin has come up with a unique way to get people to wear masks on the city’s trains and buses. They are requiring masks – but banning deodorant. They hope their no deodorant on trains initiative will make public transportation as stinky as possible … which will make wearing a mask a true necessity! (Jalopnik)
