You know those people who decorate early for Christmas? Well, they may be on to something. A new study found that decorating your home for Christmas can make you a happier person. Seems decorating early makes you happier because it brings back happy childhood memories and makes you feel more connected to others.
“When you’re putting up decorations, you’re thinking of happier times, times with family and friends and family traditions you engaged in,” said psychotherapist Amy Morin. “Thinking of those happy memories stirs up happy feelings.” (NY Post)
Under pressure …A new survey found that 80% of Millennials don’t think they are “good enough.” 75% of the Millennials surveyed say the pressure to have a good relationship, do well in their careers and keep up with their peers leaves them feeling overwhelmed. And 70% say the pressure of going to the gym regularly, eating healthy, being active on social media, looking good and making enough money stresses them out. (SWNS)
