Millennials are motivated to vote … A new Cosmo/SurveyMonkey poll revealed that young adults are unusually motivated to vote this year. The survey found that 60 percent of 18- to 34-year-olds say they will vote in the upcoming primary elections, and 68 percent say the same about the midterm elections. In comparison, 47 percent of young adults say they always or nearly always voted in past primary elections, and only 25 percent say they voted in the 2014 midterms. (Cosmo

Ya gotta have friends … According to a study conducted by Harvard researchers over the past 80 years, the key to happiness is simply to have good friends. The Scully Effect … A new survey has found that women who watched The X-Files when they were younger are more likely to be in careers that involve science, technology, engineering or math. They're calling this "The Scully Effect," after X-Files character Dana Scully played by Gillian Anderson, since nearly two-thirds of the women surveyed who work in these fields admitted Scully served as a role model. Barbie has a last name … and a middle one too. Barbie Millicent Roberts -- that's the name Mattel gave to their fashion dream doll in 1959. But it turns out most people had no idea … until recently. For Siblings Day, the official Barbie Twitter account posted a photo of Barbie and her sisters, tweeting: "Happy #SiblingsDay from The Roberts sisters." … and the Twittersphere lost its collective mind. The tweet resulted in more than 10,000 retweets, and thousands of comments from people who had no clue Barbie had a last name. (Moneyish
